About our Gatherings
We Gather on Sunday Mornings at 9:30AM
We meet in the sanctuary of United Commons (932 Balmoral Rd, Victoria)
On the FIRST Sunday of the Month - You’re invited to an intergenerational gathering!
What’s that? It’s a time for our whole community—kids, teens, adults, and elders—to be together in one space. We’ll share an ancient story, take time to reflect, and discover what it means for our lives today. There’s room for wonder, for questions, and for connection across generations.
9:00 AM: The Sanctuary is OPEN - come join in the singing and preparation or find a quiet place. Coffee and Tea available.
9:30 AM: There will be a one-hour service featuring a brief sermon and communion, or will be a Taizé style worship.
10:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Enjoy coffee, goodies, and meaningful conversations in the community.
You’re welcome to join us for one part, all of these, or follow the movement of the Spirit as you feel called. Everyone is welcome in our Sanctuary.
During weeks TWO, THREE, and sometimes week FOUR, we gather in community—hearts open, voices lifted, spirits drawn together. Worship at Fairfield United Church is a feast of beauty: music that stirs the soul, sermons or meditations that invite reflection, and communion where all are welcome. We always gather at the table, sharing God’s abundance. Ancient stories and sacred images come alive, offering wisdom made current for everyday lives—guiding the soul’s unfolding.
Here, worship is spacious, joyful, and alive with love.
Join us on the last Sunday of the month for worship in the style of Taizé—a gentle, contemplative gathering of song, silence, and prayer. In this candlelit space, simple chants draw us into the presence of God, scripture is read with care, and silence opens the heart. There is no sermon, only the invitation to rest, to listen, and to be. Icons, music, and stillness weave together a prayerful atmosphere where the soul can breathe and unfold in God’s love.
